After over 20 years of experience in Mining & Petroleum Engineering, Mechatronical Engineering, Equipment Manufacture, Glass & Ceramics, the founders incorporated HARREXCO AG in order to supply the photovoltaic industry demand with innovative equipment, process solutions and consulting services. Our general engineering experience and immediate manufacturing & automation facilitation gives the edge in speed, research, development, reliability and quality. HARREXCO strives to deliver best value for money with unrivalled support being the top priority towards customers.

We explain the loyalty of HARREXCO customers in the uncomplicated way we do things, which originates in the mining, oil and glass production industry - equipment is built to withstand rough operators, harsh environmental conditions and reliably forfill technical challenges. We like to make our equipment do more than customer specs require. We know our customers like to speed up the process or integrate more automation as they grow.
  • HARREXCO helps manufacturers select and engineer the right tools to meet their targets. The company has world class experience in automation and integration of advanced quality and handling related processes, from manufacture and processing of hollow profiles such as aluminium frames for modules, spacers and georgian or muntin bars to automatic tape application and vision control.
  • Tool processes covered in IG manufacturing include fully automatic profile storage and cutting as well as final assembly. The company offers custom made aluminium profiles and advanced fastening materials for industrial processing, also anodised or powder coated, at competitive pricing.
  • Back-End and Front-End technologies in PV manufacturing particularly pertain to yield increase and the edge isolation criteria via mechanical and optical methods and quality control thereof. HARREXCO supports traditional module and cell manufacturing with advanced vision control and handling systems as well as thin film related technologies. HARREXCO assists in acceleration of TÜV certification (e.g. IEC 61646 and IEC 61730) with express manufactured devices and/or professionally edited scientific protocols.
  • HARREXCO's Technology Center offers customers a lab equipped with a number of PLC Controllers incl. GUI's (Siemens S7300 etc.), KUKA VK360 Robot, FANUC R2000iB 165F Robot, Microscopes, LASER equipment (Rofin, Scanlab, Raylase, GSI Lumonics etc.), immediate Tool Manufacturing facilitation (Turning, Milling, Drilling, Welding), DEMAG Bridge Crane 5t, 700m2 Floor, COGNEX Vision etc. all exclusively for lab trials that are vital before scaling a wide range of processes, including automation of innovative testing systems and motion control of LASER technologies, as well as top of the range fully automatic image processing for quality control purposes. Welcome to HARREXCO - Let us show you our way of getting things done!
  • The engineering team is familiar with Siemens, Beckhoff, Jetter, B&R, Moeller, Baldor and Mitsubishi controllers. We support 6-Axis Robotics through systems from FANUC, KUKA and ABB. Control box assembly, motion control, vision control, logical operations integration and software programming are carried out exclusivley in-house.
  • HARREXCO further offers its services in overhauling and retrofitting equipment for enhancement in speed and control, international revamping of equipment, tool move-in, inspection of equipment, commissioning, acceptance testing and similar services. The company facilitates a 700m² assembly hall with a 5t bridge crane with a span of 18m.
  • The company has a wide range of experience regarding cost reduction using certified & qualified feasibility study methods including ROI via investment cost and operating cost comparison of different core processes. These are highly recommend to all industries BEFORE tool orders take place.
